Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is a performer, singer also known as an actress, musician and playback singer. She primarily works as musician and performer for Tamil and Malayalam films. She made her acting debut in the Tamil movie Pachaikili Muthucharam and Malayalam debut in Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah was born in an Anglo-Indian family at Arakkonam the capital of Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father is a lawyer at the Madras High Court. She has a younger sister who is a resident of Leuven Belgium as an assistant to research. Jeremiah is a native of Chennai. in Chennai went to National Public School. He graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea started studying classical piano when she was eight. She was a massive geek who wanted to become a psychiatrist. She joined the Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars when she was 10. This ensemble shaped her singing and composition career. While at university, she was an actor and appeared in various stage productions arranged by The Madras Players. Then she was an EVAM Student Senate President at Women's Christian College. Andrea began her theatre career through Girish Karnad's Nagamandala. In 2006 she played in a brand new advertisement for Leo with actor Shiva. The actress was also part of a series that was broadcast on Podhigai. She has performed across India. She played a brief role at the end of Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005). Gautham Menon asked Andrea to play the lead role after she sang in Vettaiyaadu's Vilaiyaadu. Andrea performed the role of Kalyani, a housewife who's husband is involved in had an affair. Andrea was allegedly blackmailed. Andrea was picked for this role because of Simran and Tabu were two actors who were offered the role by the producers. The film was released at the start of 2010. It was announced in the beginning of 2011. be a minor role for Venkat Prabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha which came out in August of 2011. In 2013, she began her career in Malayalam film with Rajeev Ravi's romantic film Annayum Rasoolum.
