Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is a American and Canadian artist and singer. She's released over 20 albums. DiFranco's songs are classified as folk and alternative rock. Yet, they contain influences from jazz hip hop punk as well as rock and roll. The widely regarded feminist icon Grammy winner Ani DiFranco is the mother of the DIY movement being one of the pioneers of artists who started her own record label in 1990.
