Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe, a mixed race British-Nigerian child was born into an ethnically diverse family from South London. She has a mother who is English and her father Nigerian. She grew up in a south London council estate and attended The Brit School at age 14. In London she attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting certificate was obtained. At the academy and performing in numerous stage plays, including King Henry V as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her acting career in the film Storm Damage. Since then, she has appeared in Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's breakthrough came in 2007's Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream. It was opposite Colin Farrell (who played the part of Cassandra) and Ewan McGrath. In the wake of that film's success, she played Elisha in the single-episode BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN which aired in 2007 and she also appeared in the six episodes of Trexx as well as Flipside in the role of Ollie. In 2008 she landed Bambi's part on the ITV2 Drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. The actress was on the series 2 and 3. Madekwe was the main character on How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others, a comedy released in 2008. Some of her theatre credits include Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) and Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe was a part of Ashley Davenport for the ABC drama The Beautiful Life. The two-episode series aired for just 2 weeks at The CW and then it came to an end. Ashley Davenport was her role in ABC's drama Revenge. Madekwe had appeared in all episodes of the series' second season as an regular. However, in May of 2013, it was announced that announcement was made that she would be departing the show following her guest appearance on the opening episode for its third season. In 2014 and 2016, she starred as Tituba the television series Salem. Madekwe and her boyfriend who has been with her for a long time, Iddo Goldenberg, were married in June 2012. They've collaborated in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl, and he was also on the show with Madekwe on the show Salem.

Ashley Leggat, an actress that was nominated two times for a Gemini Award, hails from the large Hamilton family. Her parents, Roy and Patty along with the four brothers of her, Brett, Todd, and Bram and Bram, were present. Ashley's four brothers, each of them extremely athletic, played hockey during the winters and baseball in the summers, meaning she basically grew up in parks and arenas. Ashley was not a walker, but she danced. At age two and half, she found Baby Ballet. Ashley fell in love with dance when she was just a few years old. Ashley performed in competitive ballet, tap and jazz in high divisions. Ashley was awarded the top soloist honor at each major dance competition, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more, just to mention some.
