Sofia Pernas, a Moroccan born in California who grew up in Orange County. She graduated at the University of California, San Diego in 2015 which is when she also got her first big break as an actor. Pernas started her acting career through tiny roles in NCIS as well as Leverage. The Young and the Restless offered Pernas the character Marisa. The actress, who left The soap after 2016 got the part of Catalina as a regular in Jane the Virgin. The four-language model has appeared in The Brave, The Green Ghost as well as Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Between 2019 and the year 2020 Pernas played Lexi Vaziri as part of Blood & Treasure. Us Weekly confirmed in May 2020 that Pernas has been with her ex- The Young and the Restless costar Justin Hartley. The relationship began shortly after Hartley's This Is Us star split from wife Chrishell Stause in November of this year. News was reported on May 20, 2021, the couple Pernas and Hartley have recently got married in a secret ceremony.
